  2. The goal of this webinar is to educate professionals about the experience of historical discrimination in the lives of patients and families being cared for. Learners will become aware of their own perceptions and attitudes toward people of different race, gender or cultural backgrounds and will gain practical strategies to self-monitor and improve person-centered, trauma-informed care. Participants will also become inspired by the narrative of resilience, hope, and courage for themselves and others.
