Psychiatric and Psychosocial Aspects of Care (Package 1) | Myra Glajchen, DSW | NYS SOCIAL WORKERS

  1. Package of two webinars for New York State Social Workers on supporting family caregivers - 1.75 SW CE credits
  2. Family caregivers commonly struggle to provide care to loved ones with serious chronic illness.  Although family meetings are among the most widely used interventions in palliative care, there have been few studies of this approach.  These webinars summarize key points from the caregiver literature and describe best practices in the use of family meetings and other approaches to assess and manage caregiver distress and burden.
